This Promac heavy duty drill press has an inverter driven variable speed motor producing infinitely adjustable spindle speeds between 65 and 2000 rpm (with digital speed readout). The drill is suitable for tapping, and the motor is reversable for withdrawing the tap. A pumped coolant system is included. There is a power feed with a choice of 3 down speeds. A large 115mm diameter column, and heavy base and table castings, ensures rigidity when drilling at maximum capacity.
