This large portable metal band saw weighs 35kg and has a cutting capacity of 170mm circular or square hollow section. There is electronic speed control of the blade, with speeds from 30 to 80 metres/min making it suitable for cutting a range of metal materials. The cutting head swivels up to 60 degrees for mitre cuts, but maximum metal sizes reduce for angular cuts. The band saw is suitable for dry cutting only without coolant.
